EV Charger Service Engineer
Job Location: Delhi NCR
Job Summary:
The EV Charger Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of electric
vehicle charging infrastructure. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting,
and repair of EV chargers at various locations. The engineer will also provide technical
support and work closely with customers to address any issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Setup:
o Install EV charging stations at residential, commercial, and public locations.
o Ensure proper wiring, connectivity, and integration with existing electrical
systems.
o Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation locations and
requirements.
2. Maintenance and Repairs:
o Perform routine maintenance and inspections of EV charging equipment.
o Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in charging stations.
o Replace faulty components and perform software updates as needed.
3. Technical Support:
o Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
o Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

o Assist customers with understanding charging station operation and features.
4. Compliance and Safety:
o Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local electrical codes and
safety standards.
o Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
o Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and advancements in EV
technology.

5. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain detailed records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
o Complete service reports and document any issues or corrective actions taken.
o Provide feedback on recurring issues and suggest improvements.
6. Customer Interaction:
o Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and
address their concerns.
o Provide clear instructions and guidance on the use and maintenance of EV
chargers.
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and professional service.
7. Training and Development:
o Stay current with the latest EV charger technology and industry best practices.
o Participate in training sessions and certifications as required.
o Share knowledge and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications:
 Education:
o Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a
related field, or equivalent experience.

 Experience:
o Proven experience of two to five years in electrical installation and
maintenance, preferably with EV chargers or similar equipment.
o Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
 Skills:
o Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and safety practices.

o Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Good communication and customer service skills.
 Certifications:
o Relevant certifications in electrical work (e.g., Electrical License, Electrical
Technician Certification).
o Certification specific to EV charging stations may be required or preferred.
 Other Requirements:
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites.
o Flexibility to work outside regular hours if needed.
