As an Exchange Server Engineer, you will be part of a team performing technical work for critical applications, project management, and application licensing. This position provides technical leadership to the team in the design of server infrastructure and operating procedures and the configuration, implementation, management, and support of specialized applications to implement technologies that allow end users to work effectively.

Responsibilities for the Exchange Server Engineer include:

· Design, implement, and maintains a hybrid Exchange environment, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain virtual and physical servers and the applications and services they provide.

· Administer and manage Exchange services, including mailboxes, groups, and policies.

· Implement and maintain email authentication and security using Defender, Office 365, and Exchange Online Protection.

· Monitor server and application logs and TICKETS queue.

· Implement and enforce identity and access management policies (compliance and conditional access policies, device compliance policy, PIM, RBAC, user risk, and sign-in risk policy).

· Design, implement and maintain cloud-based technology, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Office 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Azure offerings currently implemented.

· Manage user IDs, third-party access, and access security in the EUS server environment.

· Develop new processes and procedures for the Office 365 & Azure environment as new features are researched, piloted, approved, and implemented.

· Serve as a point of contact for managing the operating system, application, and cloud-based licenses to monitor compliance and assist with new and recurring purchases. Assist with all tasks associated with managing software licensing, such as tracking renewal dates and maintaining documentation.

· Assist in the research and recommendation for emerging technologies that would be candidates for future cloud/server/application-based initiatives for enterprise implementation.

· Assist with maintaining the Snow software management system to ensure correct reporting of software information.

Required skills and experience:

· 5+ years of experience with Exchange Online

· Experience as an Exchange Server Engineer in both Exchange on-prem and online environments, including Azure.

· Experience supporting end users and maintaining enterprise systems is required.

· Experience with Microsoft System Center Suite, Snow License Inventory, Enterprise Volume Licensing.

· Experience with Office 365, Microsoft Intune

· Experience with VMWare and Citrix XenServer,

· Experience with Active Directory, Federation Services, PKI, DNS, Linux, DHCP, and Facilities Building Administration servers.

· Advanced knowledge of enterprise operating systems, applications, and cloud-based licensing standards and best practices is required.
