Work you'll do

As a Human Resource Assistant for our federal sector client, you will:
 

  • Assist HR Specialists in administrative tasks related to personnel action processing, classifications, and qualifications
  • Accurately enter and maintain employee data, job classifications, and qualification information in HR systems or databases
  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive records of personnel actions, qualifications, and job classifications to ensure data integrity and accessibility
  • Help to ensure that all HR processes adhere to legal and organizational compliance standards and flag any discrepancies or issues
  • Assist in screening job applicants by verifying qualifications, education, and experience to help identify suitable candidates for open roles
  • Collaborate with HR Specialists on various HR initiatives, such as recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations, as they relate to personnel actions, classifications, and qualifications
  • Assist with special projects or task as assigned

Qualifications

Required:
 

  • 1 year of experience with HR administration
  • Experience with providing Human Resource support services to a federal sector client
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role
  • Bachelor's Degree


This position is for our Washington, D.C. office. We operate in a hybrid work environment, and Deloitte professionals are expected to collocate in the office or client sites up to 50% of the time.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, DC, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Washington, DC and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $68,000 - $102,000.
