  • Certifications:

Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are preferred.

  • Experience:

2-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with a solid foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and valuation analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex financial models, supporting business decisions through detailed analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires hands-on experience with financials, a deep understanding of valuation techniques, and a solid accounting background.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statements & Reporting:
    • Prepare and analyse accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Develop and maintain detailed annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives.
    • Monitor budget vs. actual performance, analysing variances, and providing actionable insights to management.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough financial analysis and support business decision-making.
    • Analyse trends, performance metrics, and financial results to identify risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Valuation & Investment Analysis:
    • Perform valuations of assets, businesses, and projects to support strategic initiatives.
    • Conduct scenario analysis to assess financial impact on investment decisions.
  • Compliance & Audit Support:
    • Assist in internal and external audits by providing relevant financial data, reports, and reconciliations.
    • Ensure adherence to all internal controls and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Continuously assess and improve financial processes, systems, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and accounting software (Excel, SAP).
  • Excellent understanding of accounting standards and financial principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
