About the Role In this opportunity as FinOps Engineer, you will:

Create and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS or Azure using both console and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) methodologies, ensuring robust testing and resolution of issues.
Act as a point of contact or subject matter expert for technical issues within a specific workstream, contributing to larger project goals.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend both short-term and long-term technical solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
Engage in troubleshooting and participate in the remediation process for a variety of technical challenges, aiding in the implementation of solutions.
Monitor and report on project progress using Microsoft Azure DevOps, maintaining transparency and effective communication regarding project statuses.
Actively participate in team discussions, demonstrating attentive listening and clear articulation of technical issues to aid in problem-solving.
Investigate and endorse technical standards and best practices for cloud operations to maintain a high level of quality.
Develop detailed project timelines with clear milestones and dependencies, providing accurate completion estimates for assigned tasks.


About You You’re a fit for the role of FinOps Engineer if your background includes:

1 to 2 years of experience in cloud environments, with a strong preference for AWS or Azure expertise.
Holding at least one relevant certification: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals.
Proficiency in server operating systems, including Windows and/or Linux.
Proficient in Python or PowerShell scripting, with a preference for Python.
Strong capabilities with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices, such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager templates.
