Firmware Engineer

The purpose of the position is to use the principles of computer, electrical, and mechanical engineering, along with systems integration and technical project management skills, to research, design, develop, test, and troubleshoot. Integrating and designing electronic security systems

Responsibilities

The design, development, qualification and implementation of firmware/hardware for general electronic products such as GSM/GPS telematics units

Technical support of products and systems to manufacturing, vendors, technology partner’s installation centres, customers etc

Project management and technical liaison with external development partners

Research and development of new technologies to be used by the development team

Qualifications and Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering is required

Embedded software development experience in C is essential

Five years’ experience in electronics engineering and hardware design is required

Understanding of RF and wireless communications is preferable

Must have been part of a managed design project from start to finish, using project management fundamentals

Will be diserable if the applicant has skills in IOT
