Job title: Five9 Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Contract: Contract through the rest of this year with possible extension

Required Skills

Strong experience and a solid understanding of backend (PHP/Laravel preferred, Python, Java/Spring desirable) and front-end languages (JavaScript) and frameworks (Vue.js desirable)

 Hands on development experience with implementing digital channels with Five 9s specifically

Experience of working in an agile development environment and collaborating with a team

Must Have’s:

• Strong experience and a solid understanding of backend (PHP/Laravel preferred, Python, Java/Spring desirable) and front-end languages (JavaScript) and frameworks (Vue.js desirable)
• Hands on development experience with implementing digital channels with Five 9s specifically
• Experience of working in an agile development environment and collaborating with a team

Responsibilities:

• Software design and development, testing and documentation across our backend, front-end and interaction management platforms to deliver end-to-end features
• Work with product owners and designers to expand the feature set and create high-quality user interfaces
• Take operational responsibility for the performance and quality of services owned by your team, potentially including taking part in an on-call rotation
• Deep dive into recent technologies and work with the products team to transfer ideas into products.
• Coach and guide less experienced team members
• Contribute to the architectural design process for new products and solutions

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience and have a solid understanding of backend (PHP/Laravel preferred, Python, Java/Spring desirable) and front-end languages (JavaScript) and frameworks (Vue.js desirable)
• 3+ Hands on development experience with implementing digital channels with Five 9s
• Care and know about software engineering practices like continuous delivery and automated testing
• Solid experience of working in an agile development environment and collaborating with a team
• The ideal candidate has IVR, conversational interaction management or AI domain experience
• Care and know about software engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming and automated testing
• Experienced in working with distributed systems comprised of multiple services in addition to having built and scaled monoliths
• Software design and development, testing and documentation across our backend, front-end and interaction management platforms to deliver end-to-end features
• Work with product owners and designers to expand the feature set and create high-quality user interfaces
• Take operational responsibility for the performance and quality of services owned by your team
