Our team consists of experts in machine learning and software engineers who have worked at top-tier US tech companies like Apple, Amazon, etc , and we are passionate about using AI to improve access to credit information for businesses. We have the product on the market, the first clients, and sufficient runway.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Founding Engineer to join CredHive as one of our first hires. As a Founding Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and optimizing low latency APIs that power our cutting-edge credit information applications. As an early teammate, you will have a high degree of autonomy over engineering and product decisions and will work directly with the founders. We are looking for quick-thinking, problem-solving backend engineers to build the next generation of fintech products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of our backend services primarily using Python and FastAPI.
• Architect and implement solutions integrating various AWS services to support scalable, reliable, and secure applications.
• Design and manage databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of backend systems to handle growing traffic and data loads.
• Work closely with the founding team to align backend development with the company's strategic goals. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of full time experience as a software engineer, with some startup experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Strong experience with various AWS services and their integration into backend solutions.
• Proven track record in developing efficient and scalable APIs.
• Passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment and contributing to its growth and success.
