Front End Developer

• Developer will be working with other staff on the OIT/MaineDOT development team on front-end development in multiple applications.
• The developer will be working with the team to help refine the development design and process.
• Current application front-ends are written in Angular and Angular Material using TypeScript, but one application is still open to other front-end technologies including React.js.
• Two of the applications also are related to GIS and have mapping interfaces.
• Experience with GIS and/or the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript is not a requirement but would be helpful.
• Experience with backend development using .NET Core and Entity Framework would also be a plus.

Core competencies the ability to work in a team environment, strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to be flexible in a changing environment.

Although not part of the required skills preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:

• Back-end development with .NET Core
• Entity Framework
• GIS and/or the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
• UI design
• GitHub or Git
• Python
