FRONTEND WEB DEVELOPER

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer with a strong focus on accessibility and a proven track record in developing WCAG 2.2 AA compliant applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, and/or building Lightning Web Components working on Salesforce Experience Cloud/Lightning Web Runtime projects. You will be responsible for ensuring our applications are not only visually appealing and user-friendly but also accessible to users of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications with a strong emphasis on accessibility and user experience

Implement and adhere to WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines to ensure all web applications are accessible

Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components to create dynamic and interactive user interfaces

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional and accessible front-end code

Conduct accessibility audits and usability testing to identify and address accessibility issues

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Provide expertise and guidance on accessibility standards and best practices to the development team

Work on Salesforce Experience Cloud projects, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced user experiences

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a focus on accessibility and responsive design

In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines and best practices

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Components/Lightning Web Components

Experience with accessibility tools and technologies such as screen readers, ARIA, and keyboard navigation

Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on Salesforce Experience Cloud projects

Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASSFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies

Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
