Description

  • 5 years – 10 years’ experience (doesn’t want someone too senior but would take under 5 years)
  • Front End –Preference would be VueJS (Javascript, React)
  • .NET or Java (wouldn’t expect them to have both) – they are a .NET shop/Azure cloud but a lot of the enterprise apps are Java so integration layers are in Java
  • Early in the process; so a lot of building from scratch; must be able to create API’s
  • Anyone with Database background (several DBs in play; anything relational will be SQL; other needs outlined for NoSQL, MongoDB, key value store need Casandra
  • Azure Cloud
  • Industry experience would move a candidate to the top of the list; tough because they don’t want embedded SW development…more traditional software development
  • Clear communication – talk how they’ve used those skills in past jobs. Doesn’t want the person that just talks technology
