A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline

5+ years of development experience

4+ years of React or Angular experience

4+ years of Java development experience

3+ years with Spring, Spring Boot

5+ years of experience with AWS technologies

5+ years Object Oriented design and development methodologies

3+ years of experience with Docker

It would be great if you also have . . .

Machine Learning experience

Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.

Experience with relational databases and database design using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.

Experience with WebGL or Unity

Experience with HTML5 Canvas Graphics

Experience with Bootstrap 5, Material Design, and Theme Engines

Experience with an IDP and authentication protocols

Android or IOS experience

What will you be doing in this role? 

Contribute materially to team efforts to design, build, test, and support new and existing applications in an agile environment.

Be data drive and seek to eliminate current workflow problems.

Assist team efforts with the identification, design, and implementation of solutions for new features and software defects.

Produces high-quality and on-time deliverables according to planned project goals.

Maintains flexibility and strong working relationships with peers and management.

Mentor less experienced team members.

The Vega product is a very forward-thinking engagement and customer relations suite of tools for public libraries, to help library administrators reach out to and involve both their patrons and their communities in with more directed and personalized interactions.  Vega is an AWS based SaaS multi-tenant platform, with multiple cross functional components which combine to deliver a unified, connected data experience across a library’s internal and marketing data, to a customer interaction management suite that is available for use by public libraries worldwide!
