Functional Analyst

Position: Functional Analyst

Location: Brussels

Type: Full Time

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Minimum 1 day per week on-site)

Contract Type: Freelance or Permanent (CDI)

Context:

• This role involves the comprehensive operational management of approximately 30 business applications
• Documentation, application maintenance, and development
• Reengineering/Complete Rewriting of Applications
• Provide abstract thinking to help onboard new team members and ensure smooth transitions.

Technical and Soft Skills:

• 3-6years experience as Functional Analyst
• Proven experience working with J2EE, Java 8, Oracle, Hibernate, JUnit, Selenium, Maven, GIT, and JIRA.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong functional and business analysis capabilities to quickly understand complex systems.
• Ability to abstract complex information and assist in onboarding new team members.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in French + Dutch OR English (mandatory)
• Candidates must already reside in the European Union and possess an EU Passport/ Work Permit in a European Union country (mandatory).
