Functional Tester

Required Skill(s):

• Candidates must have at least 3+ years of end-to-end software testing experience including creating and executing test scenarios in addition to analyzing and clearly documenting all programming defects (software bugs) that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
• Must have Security Testing experience of different applications, environments including Coarse-grained/fine-grained access controls validations and role-based testing.
• Must be able to create SQL queries against an Oracle database when necessary to verify business scenarios have been met.
• At least 2 years of testing experience in different environments including one or more of the client server, Services Oriented Architecture, Web based, and three tier architectures
• Experience with Testing Techniques - Understand the various approaches used in testing, including white-box, black-box, load testing, coverage testing and regression testing.
• Experience with Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), TFS.
• Highly prefer prior experience supporting a State/Government/Public Sector/ OR Health & Human Services Department project. Candidates will be prioritized who have this.
