Job summary involves imaging, deployment and technical support of laptops, desktops and peripherals to in-house and remote customers. - The role requires configuring and supporting desktop applications and ensuring configurations comply with IT policies. - Other tasks include data backup and restore, and hardware surplus. - The successful candidate must be organized and capable of managing their time wisely. - Duties also include answering helpdesk phone calls, working on internal helpdesk tickets submitted by staff members, and communicating with staff to complete helpdesk tickets in a timely manner. - The role requires managing, troubleshooting, licensing, and updating hardware and software assets on local machines. - The position provides field support, including onsite troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and questions, and assisting in the development and writing of technical documentation manuals. - The candidate must have great customer service and problem-solving skills. - For the essential functions of the position and to support remote centers, the candidate must be able to pass an MVR for the purpose of driving a DCBOH vehicle. - General skills include working knowledge with active directory, DNS, and DHCP, experience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues in both LAN and WAN environments, experience imaging and deploying laptops, and experience providing desktop/laptop computer hardware support. - Qualifications needed are a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications Computer Technology or a related field, or an Associate's degree in the same field with three years of related experience.
