The Role:
As a General Laborer, you will be trained to drive productivity for the manufacturing of client’s energy products. If you have a strong work ethic, are reliable and value teamwork in a safety-focused environment we want to hear from you!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up worksites from debris and machinery.
- Maintaining standards of cleanliness.
- Stock & organize inventory.
- Load and unload hazardous material onto or from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor system carts, balers, and/or load gratings.
- Prepare materials for transport by palletizing, wrapping, loading, and moving.
- Follow safety guidelines & procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to supervisor or area lead.
- Report any equipment damages or repairs needed to a supervisor or area lead.
- Punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude are a must.
- Optional compensated skill sets:
- Operate safety sensitive equipment such as forklifts, scissor, and boom lifts, standing riding pallet jacks, flatbed carts, gold carts, and more.
- Painting, light carpentry, drywall repair.
The General Laborer Role:
- Responsible for general.
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: PAPR – powered air purifying respirator, safety glasses, latex gloves, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines.
- Effectively handle and move hazardous samples or waste.
- Cleaning and preparing work sites.
- Cleaning various equipment and process areas.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day including but not limited to:
- Frequently go up and down stairs
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing.
- Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for a variety of shifts, including days, nights, or weekends as needed.
- Exemplary attendance and punctuality are crucial for the team to achieve success.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
- Disposing of process waste and PPE.
- Preparing work sites for laydown of equipment.
- Organizing inventory and parts kitting for job site.
