Graphic Designer

Reporting to the Creative Director of Brand Marketing Design, the Freelance Brand and Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns across various channels. Working closely with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, merchandising, copywriters, project managers, and the digital and retail design team, the ideal candidate will possess strong motion graphics skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to create compelling static brand assets. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute omni-channel marketing campaigns for website, email, paid social, retail assets, event signage and branded merchandise that align with brand guidelines and messaging.

• Create engaging motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, and convert into GIFs for optimal use across digital platforms.

• Utilize strong typography and composition skills to enhance visual storytelling.

• Conceptualize ideas quickly and effectively, translating concepts into visually appealing presentations.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive.

• Experience in branding is a plus, with the ability to contribute to brand development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote

• Experience in apparel marketing is advantageous.

• Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts.

• Quick worker with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a passion for creating visually stunning designs.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Full-time freelance availability with the potential for long-term collaboration.

• Local to the San Francisco Bay Area preferred for hybrid work arrangements, remote candidates with strong qualifications will also be considered.
