Guidewire Developer

Job Description:

• The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)  Report developer will provide daily technical support for EDI activities by designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards ; development and maintenance of interfaces; performing data audits to validate information exchanged with the trading partners; and running ad-hoc reports as needed. This EDI Report Developer is responsible for implementing and supporting EDI Solutions using B2B data Integration tools and tracking complex data flow through dashboards. The developer will be part of a team that develops and deploys EDI solutions for critical business workflows.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Percentages of time are estimates based upon observation in the position.

• Writes SQL scripts, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. (30% of time)
• Develops dashboards visualizing a wide variety of topics across IT, PMO and business users. (30% of time)
• Assists in implementing, and supporting data automation, healthcare EDI applications, and application integrations. (20% of time)
• Works with IT stakeholders, draft documents & data flow, maintains EDI systems and serves as an EDI application and data SME. (20% of time).
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree (technical, business or science degree preferred) plus minimum five years of work experience in managed health care (or equivalents).
• 5+ years’ experience in SQL stored procedure code development. 5+ years’ experience with healthcare data, analysis, and reporting.
• 3+ years’ B2B data integration development experience.
• Experience with PowerBI is a plus
