Hadoop Developer

Description:

• Global wealth management technology is looking for an experienced Hadoop developer.
• Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.
• Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
• Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces.
• Facilitate Scrum routines i.e.
• Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Collaborates with Product owner and development team member’s to prioritize and define stories using JIRA.
• Strong Data analysis/ Documentation expertise.
• Knowledge in Hadoop, Hive or other Hadoop tools.
• Understanding and experience writing queries.
• Strong critical thinking creative problem solving skills.
• Working knowledge of database systems (IBM DB2, SQL Server platforms or Oracle)
