HCM Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and application system analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Technical Strategy: Collaborate with business and technology partners to define the technical vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy for HCM, aligning with overall business objectives. Work with Product Management to prioritize, scope & plan business milestones.
• Product Development: Drive the end-to-end development process of Oracle HCM Cloud and related technology solutions, ensuring the successful implementation of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Partner & collaborate with engineering peers, product management, product design, & third parties (as appropriate) to prioritize deliverables providing the greatest value to our customers and business.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in leading and managing software development teams, particularly in the context of HCM solutions.
• 2+ years of experience in retail systems or high transaction software solutions.
• Strong technical expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud, including proficiency in HCM modules, personalization, data migration, and integrations.
• In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide team members toward common goals.
• Strong program-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and pragmatic solutions.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, Agile principles, and DevOps practices
• Understanding of cloud-based solutions and technologies, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
