Responsibilities for HR business analyst
- Contract with customers, partners, and co-workers to define research questions, analysis plans, and deliverable timelines (with some support)
- Work closely with data, from initial extraction through preliminary analysis to results validation
- Beyond this analytical work, there will periodically be some minor responsibilities in support of other priority work within the broader HR Business Insights team
- Evaluates, analyzes, designs and maintains company Human Resources Information Systems, including PeopleSoft, Kenexa, Kronos, Remedy, Service Now, OHM, SABA, Authoria Self Service and PMP
- Implements and trains others on specially-designed human resources information systems, related policies and business processes that are designed to obtain, record and process employee information
- Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of a change or fix
- Recommends, implements and plans for process and system improvements, enhancements and new applications to the system
- Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities
- Creates complex queries and reports in a variety of systems that analyze and interpret data for management
- Maintains data integrity in systems through query creation and data analysis
Qualifications for HR business analyst
- Knowledge of human resources processes, principles, concepts and methodology
- Demonstrated ability to lead small scale project
- Strong knowledge in HR processes and system solutions
- Experience with diverse stakeholders (IT and Supplier Partners)
- Business Process Re-engineering and functional specifications development
- Experience with cloud based computing and Software as a Service
