Job Description
This Company, a data science and consumer insights company, is seeking an experienced IAM (Identity and Access Management) Engineer to join our talented team. As an IAM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust identity and access management solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide expertise in IAM technologies, with a particular focus on Okta, OIDC, and authentication proxies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
- Institutional experience in IAM, with a strong focus on Okta, OIDC, and authentication proxies.
- In-depth knowledge of identity and access management principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience with implementing and managing IAM solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for IAM-related tasks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their IAM capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end identity and access management solutions using Okta, OIDC, and authentication proxies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective IAM solutions.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of The Company's systems and data.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities and compliance gaps in IAM systems.
- Integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless authentication and authorization processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues, working closely with the IT and security teams.
- Stay up to date with the latest IAM technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide IAM expertise and support in various projects and initiatives.
