Description

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Experience with Atlassian products (e.g., Confluence and JIRA)
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Perform support for intake, prioritization, Sprint & Release planning, backlog grooming; facilitate prioritization and estimation meetings, manage demand/capacity/resource utilization details, Burndown/Status reporting, communication plans, training sessions, and testing and defect resolution
  • Deliver process consistency across ITE engineering teams supporting three main focus areas Access Management, Automation, and Reporting


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of C#.NET Core experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Entity Framework
  • 2 + years of experience with PCF (Pivotal cloud foundry ) deployments
  • 4 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following Enterprise Pipeline Tools: uDeploy (Urbancode Deploy), GITHub, Jenkins, Fortify, Blackduck
  • 3+ years of UI design experience with MVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework, Razor Pages, and/or Blazor Views
  • 3+ years of experience developing RESTful web services using .net Core
  • 7+ years of SQL Server experience
  • 3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI or Angular JS)
  • 7+ years of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experience
  • Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
  • Experience mentoring/training team members on .net to .NET Core development techniques for PCF
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Test driven development experience a plus
