Your challenge

As an ICT System Engineer, your main focus is maintaining the ICT infrastructure of all our global offices. As well as hardware, there’s also software and operating systems, including mobile device management and asset management. You support all our offices and project teams based at customer locations. You also actively participate in ICT projects.

You Are Responsible For

Supporting the challenging ICT landscape within our software development and consultancy environment. The infrastructure covers WAN, LAN, and WLAN networking and security as well as Windows servers and clients.
Maintaining a large variety of software suites, such as Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, etc.
Solving support requests that come in via our ticketing system.
Assisting in ICT projects, such as automation, new hardware and software standards and their deployment methods. Where relevant, you also pay special attention to security and disaster recovery.
Helping with other parts of the infrastructure such as server management, both physical and virtual, and networking depending on your skillset and interests.

Your team

As our new ICT System Engineer, you’ll be part of the Technical Services team in a fast-growing international company. Technical Services equips our teams with the necessary technology, applications, and technical framework for them to do their jobs effectively and securely.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

A bachelor’s in ICT or equivalent by experience.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Recent practical and theoretical knowledge of Windows desktop and server OS, such as Remote Desktop Services, Backup, and VMWare.
Knowledge of security, including certificates, firewalls, virus scanning, VPN, and DMZ.
Experience of working with networks: Access Lan, Backbone, Wireless Lan, Routing, and Switching.
A high level of practical experience with MDM, including MS Intune.
Knowledge of MS Powershell scripting.
A passion to stay current with new technologies.
A motivated and team-oriented approach to solving internal customer problems that helps you deliver solutions.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Driver’s license to facilitate occasional visits to our datacenter and remote offices.

Bonus Points If You Have

Knowledge of Apple iOS and macOS,
Experience with trending technologies such as:
Virtualization platforms such as VMWare and Nutanix.
Firewall and network solutions.
Azure for cloud-based device and user administration.
Observability tools for monitoring and reporting.
DevOps principles for cross-team collaboration, Git, and pipelines
Scripting infrastructure as code
Linux OS.
 

Education

Any Graduate
