Job Details :

 

  • Support the Material Flow / Material Transport and Kitting operations between Laser to Paint process steps
  • Support/ Define Material flow strategy (Kitting, Sequencing, JIT, Lineside, Supermarket, etc.) · Time and Motion Study as required
  • Develop Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and Estimate Bins / Racks / Space requirements ·
  • Determines efficient utilization of resources by analysing layouts, labour force, equipment, driver and equipment utilization charts
  • Improve Supply Chain processes through application of lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste, costs and improve quality
  • Perform, analyze, and summarize ergonomic studies as needed
  • Years of experience including packaging, flow definition, layout development, conveying and product handling
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Concepts & Assembly processes
  • Exposure to automation of Material handling and Material storage (AGV / AMR and ASRS)
  • Simulate the material flow using FlexSim / Plant Simulation (as required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel), CAD tools
