Your skillset:
• Should have 8-10 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter/Data Quality
• Should have good knowledge and understanding of Data Management, experience in data integration and data governance solutions (especially data quality), data warehousing / Big Data/ Hadoop / RDBMS, Data management tools and technologies implementation.
• Should have strong communication skills and is able to liaise effectively with various teams
• Team management & handling experience, able to work effectively with Offshore team
Your key responsibilities:
• Able to handle local data exceptions raised in central data platform and application-level data check failures and warnings
• Monitor all data quality related exceptions irrespective of origination
• Analyze root causes with support from Business Analyst, Product Owners & Business users
• Liaise with Hosting services/Upstream/Downstream Application teams for respective DQ issues
• Track data issues to remediate/closure e.g. revising threshold values or revisit validations rules or coordinating with Biz users and upstream system for changes into data feeds
• Provide expertise and recommendations to team members in resolving DQ issues
• Define process flow/work arounds for addressing known issues/errors, maintain documentation and initiate process improvements
• Understand transactional and reference data and analyze/investigate DQ exceptions
• Understanding of trade surveillance applications
