Responsibilities:-

 

1) Desktop Support Engineer provides Break Fixes, fault diagnosis, and resolution.

2) Providing fault analysis to customers’ various core operating systems and platforms, providing support, and applying desktop fault resolution for the approved application suite.

3) Ideal candidate should have 2-3 Years’ experience in Windows Desktop support.

4) Provide first/second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.

5) Work with vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.

6) Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.

7) Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.

8) Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, another authorized desktop application.

9) Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system, to support Apple pc users.

10) Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers, and computer hardware.

11) Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.

12) Performs remedial repairs on Desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.

13) Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software.

14) Broad experience in IT with a basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices, and Telecoms.

15) This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.

16) Performs other duties as assigned.
