Description

Your main missions will be:

  • Leading the infrastructure design authority processes and community.
  • Defining roadmaps and infrastructure solutions to be used as blueprints worldwide while ensuring consistency with the information system.
  • Designing and sizing infrastructures while following security, technical, finops, and functional constraints.
  • Developing technical architecture patterns based on the criticality of applications and services. Define and document guidelines for ensuring reliability, availability, and performance for mission-critical systems.
  • Being an ambassador of public cloud culture within LVMH Beauty Tech and the Maisons. This includes promoting pillars such as IaC (Infrastructure as Code), CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), PAAS (Platform as a Service), and CAAS (Container as a Service).
  • Contributing with the enterprise architecture team in screening; scoring, and selecting the best solutions for the Beauty Division and leveraging modern architectures
  • Benchmarking best practices, architectures, and models within the Group and outside to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Staying abreast of emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on the organization, and make strategic recommendations for adoption.
  • Providing technical support to technical teams during implementations, rollouts, and operations (L4).

 Your short-term objectives and realizations will include:

  • Fostering awareness within functional and application teams about adopting cutting-edge architectures, focusing on both Platform as a Service (PAAS) and Container as a Service (CAAS).
  • Establishing clear roles and responsibilities (RACI) and governance frameworks between the infrastructure architecture team, expertise teams, and enterprise architects.
  • Categorizing services (application or infrastructures) in classes (Copper/Silver/Gold) to tailor High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) according to the criticality of each service and establishing infrastructure architecture standards to cover each class.
  • Launching architecture meetings and governance processes with the Beauty Tech China IT team to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.


 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

You will excel in this position if:

  • You hold a degree from an engineering school, with a specialization in computer science.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in IT, including 5 years in infrastructure architecture, preferably in a public cloud context on an international scale.
  • You have strong leadership, autonomy, and communication skills, which enable you to address issues by navigating the organization, co-creating and gaining buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.
  • You possess knowledge in topics relevant to our Maisons: digital, eCommerce, retail, omni-retail, manufacturing, supply chain, customer management, CRM, marketing, etc.
  • You have a solid IT technical background: Cloud (GCP, Microsoft Azure, Aliyun), PAAS, CAAS, CI/CD, Github, Terraform, DB, Windows, Open-source, security, compliance, etc.
  • You demonstrate a pragmatic approach to architecture (results-oriented, grounded in reality) with an agile mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with delivery, enterprise architecture and LVMH Goup IT teams.
  • You are capable of producing thorough and comprehensive documentation, such as HLD, LLD, Architecture diagrams.
  • You have excellent communication skills in both English and French.
