Description: Our client is currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer VMware - Clearance

 

  • U.S. citizenship and current DOD-S security clearance is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

     

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Thorough background in on premise infrastructure design data center systems
  • Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, COTS products, VMs, VDIs, and/or network issues.
  • Experience with vSphere distributed infrastructure for an enterprise Design.

     

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience in Network designs and implementation
  • Experience in SAN/NAS designs and implementation
  • Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps developments
  • Extensive Linux development experience
  • Hands on experience scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.)
  • Experience with the Agile development lifecycle
  • Experience with SAFe agile processes
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Application development and deployment processes
  • RHEL Development Experience
  • Security+ certification
