Key Responsibilities:
* Design & Development:
* Develop storyboards that outline the structure, content flow, and multimedia elements for required to accomplish the defined instructional objectives.
* Convert storyboards into fully developed learning materials, including e-learning modules, facilitation guides, assessments, and workshop slide decks.
* Synthesize technical information into easily-consumable explanations or instructions.
* E-Learning Authoring:
* Develop e-learning courses using authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, and others.
* Create interactive and multimedia components for online courses, such as quizzes, simulations, branching scenarios, and video-based learning assets.
* Content Creation & Asset Management:
* Write and design course content that is clear, concise, and engaging for a variety of audiences.
* Collaborate with SMEs to collect required content while minimizing the demands on their time.
* Develop visually compelling slide decks for workshops and presentations using Google Slides.
* Incorporate visuals, infographics, and multimedia into learning materials.
* Project Management:
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with business and learning objectives.
* Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather input, review content, and iterate based on feedback.
* Learning Management Systems (LMS):
* Upload, manage, and track e-learning modules and training content within the organization's LMS
* Ensure that all e-learning content adheres to SCORM or xAPI standards for tracking and reporting purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field.
* Experience:
* 2-5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field.
* Proven experience developing e-learning content, facilitation guides, and slide decks for instructor-led or virtual workshops.
* Graphic design proficiency a plus.
* Strong experience collaborating with SMEs to gather requirements and translating them into storyboards or fully developed learning content.
* Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, or Lectora.
* Proficiency with Google Slides and graphic design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Snagit.
* Experience with audio/video editing tools a plus, such as Camtasia, Audacity, or animation tools like Vyond.
* Instructional Design Expertise:
* Strong understanding of adult learning theories (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick's Model, Bloom's Taxonomy).
* Experience with storyboarding, course development, and assessment design.
* Knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG) and inclusive learning design principles.
* Soft Skills:
* Excellent communication and writing skills, especially for translating complex content into understandable learning materials.
* Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to problem-solve effectively.
* Personal productivity and efficiency.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SMEs and stakeholders, to meet project requirements and adapt to changing priorities.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
