Job Title –  Content Developer


Responsibilities:

Develop training products for multiple front-line workgroups
Write training objectives using competencies and critical behaviors
Perform needs analysis to understand user goals and objectives and identify appropriate content deliverables for assigned projects
Write and revise content deliverables (e.g., online course materials, job aides, classroom materials) per approved content plans, ensuring content deliverables adhere to established standards
Provide peer edits for other developers, editing for content, style, copyediting, and proofreading accuracy. Review for adherence to established standards for mechanics, organization, logic, presentation, completeness, and consistency
Regularly report project status; recognize potential problems and promptly report issues to manager
Respond to requests for content updates based on identified defects, product enhancements, root cause analysis findings, etc. to help ensure delivery of high quality products to our customers
Research new technologies to assist in the teams’ continued improvement of content development processes and standards, recommending changes required to match or surpass e-learning industry standards
LMS: Upload, test, create and edit course trees, archive courses as needed, create and attach surveys, communicate with LMS admin to ensure adherence to best practices
Manage projects including timelines, development of content, scripts, stakeholders, video recording and audio
Ensure design and content meet style guides and graphic standards
Perform regular reviews of content for accuracy and relevance
Remain innovative and current with design methods
Understand project risks/challenges and take action to resolve
Mentor and influence TCD I
Analyze design and delivery implications; build considerations, training strategies and media selection
Research, analyze and implement content development projects, including scope and schedule of content deliverables


Minimum qualifications:

Experience in applying instructional design and modern learning principles in training and e-learning highly preferred
Articulate storyline
Adobe Premier Pro
Knowledge of MS Suite, including Word, Excel and Publisher required
Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint required
Specific knowledge of authoring tools, such as Articulate Pro Suite and Articulate Storyline preferred
Knowledge of recording and synchronizing audio narration
Knowledge of current training presentation products and emerging technologies for delivery such as social media, Web 2.0 and mobile applications
Ability to act as a consultant regarding Content Development methodology, standards and practices
Ability to create compelling visual designs for training taking into consideration usability and attractiveness
Minimum of two years’ experience in a technical writing, curriculum development or instructional design position.
Advanced Storyline: creating simulations, gamification, logic and number variables, scene creation, recording screencasts, java script creation/insertion required
Advanced image/graphic creation and manipulation required
Multimedia literacy required
