Integration Engineer Requirements: FHIR, HL7, Mirth, API, File-based, sftp, ICD 10, HL7, FHIR, CDA Healthcare Domain Experience required, FHIR experience a must Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing a comprehensive integration strategy (FHIR, HL7, API, File Based) aligned to business goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design scalable data solutions, and lead the execution of projects. Position will require knowledge and experience in the healthcare domain. Key Responsibilities

• 6 years of Integration Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing Comprehensive integration strategy (HL7, API, File Based)

• Works with and is proficient in using data formats such as HL7, FHIR, CCCD, JSON, XML, CSV, and other relevant languages

• Experience on Mirth Connect

• 6 years of expertise with in-depth understanding of RESTful API design, development, testing, deployment, and management

• HL7 Standards and expert understanding of Integration methodology and architecture

• File transfer standards (FTP, SFTP)

• 1 years’ experience developing interfaces using interface engines such as Mirth, Rhapsody, and Cloverleaf

• Experience with scripting languages and testing/troubleshooting procedures

• Experience with EMR systems and healthcare transaction standards (HIPAA, HITECH).

• Knowledge of healthcare data, terminology, concepts, and interoperability standards (ICD 10, HL7, FHIR, CDA)

• Proficient with SQL and RDBMS databases (SQL Server)

• Proficient with programming and logic

• Proficient with data normalization, database analysis/design/modeling

• Proficient with developing in two or more programming languages (C#, .Net, Python)

• Proficient with XML, JSON file formats and NoSQL databases

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools/processes to deploy containerized application

• Deep expertise with in-depth understanding of RESTful API design, development, testing, deployment, and management.

• Experience with modern strategies and solutions to understand and mitigate unique vulnerabilities and security risks recognized by OWASP API Security.

• Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or related field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
