iOS/Android Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION: ALStream Tech is a seeking a mobile application developer for the Customer Mobile Application that is highly proficient in iOS or Android. This team develops and supports the newly developed customer mobile app for nearly 5.4 million customers in 11 states! This mobile application team members are responsible for understanding the business strategy and helping to translate that into user stories that result in quality, easy to use, technically sound, and market viable mobile applications. AEP customer mobile applications are a key component to AEP’s Customer Experience strategy and the larger IT digital strategy.

Selected candidate will join a team of developers that continuously pair program in both iOS and Android platforms. Our mobile application team is diligent about following modern development practices therefore all candidates must be open to pair programming as well as test driven development. In addition they must have experience with or a strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment.

KEY SKILLS: Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related. Will also accept 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Software Professional in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
