IT Business Development Manager
Term: Full time
Location: Plainsboro, NJ 08536

We are actively seeking Business Development Managers to join our growing operations. You will be responsible for cultivating new client relationships and driving IT service sales. You will come along with a technical know-how in Information Technology and possess experience in Sales & Service Delivery Management. We are seeking individuals who can independently develop relationships, sell IT services, generate new leads, manage accounts, and leverage their expertise in the field.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of past experience in Information Technology Professional Services.
  • Demonstrate the ability to leverage current business relationships and cultivate new clients.
  • Exhibit proficiency in negotiating contracts, partnerships, and successfully closing sales.
  • Knowledge and know-how in Information Technology, in areas such as Application Development, Infrastructure Management, and IT Staffing, enabling effective crafting of necessary sales pitch to engage successful client discussions and for efficient delivery management.
  • Experience in delivery management, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of IT services to the existing and prospective clients.
  • Ability to stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in the IT landscape to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and foster relationships with new client companies and partners.
  • Experience in promoting and selling Smart IMS expertise and full range of IT services and Information Technology solutions to prospective clients, with the goal of establishing mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • This entails showcasing our expertise, highlighting our competitive advantages, and tailoring our offerings to meet the specific needs and challenges of the companies.
  • Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies aimed at maximizing account penetration.
  • Build enduring, long-term business relationships with both existing and new clients.
  • Generate leads and maintain sales pipeline through networking, attending industry events, and utilizing digital marketing strategies.
  • Manage client accounts, ensuring their needs are met, and seeking opportunities to expand services or upsell and cross-cell additional solutions.
  • Deliver proposals and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of the company's IT services.
  • Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and partnerships with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts, project managers, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless delivery of IT services and solutions.
