Job Overview

Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement Oracle EBS application system enhancements. Feature implementations require extensive working knowledge of various Oracle EBS Technical Components including, reports, forms, OAF web Pages, Workflows, Reports, Integrations, API and Complete three-layer architecture layout. In addition, a comprehensive knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Crystal Reports, Java, Linux, shell scripting, OBIEE reports is required to perform the full lifecycle implementation or extensions of Oracle EBS. Develop complex oracle codes and perform code reviews to comply with Oracle best practices, nomenclature, standards, performance efficiency, debugging capabilities and extensive exception handling. Enhance and customize existing Oracle implemented EBS Applications, including and not limited to Accounts Receivables(AR), Order Management(OM), Inventory (INV) and General Ledger (GL) modules Perform systems and integration testing in multiple iterations using custom scripts Design and develop Oracle packages, complex custom APIs for various integration, conversion and EBS component extensions after analyzing the logic. Work closely with business team and users to resolve critical month end issues for AP, AR and GL period close procedures. Work on various GDF (General Data Fixes) and Root Cause Fixes as part of the Critical month end releases. Complex nature involved in these tasks mainly stems from automating multitude of tasks to finalize the general ledger based on regions (USA, Europe, Asia), which otherwise should be performed manually that does not scale well for the business. It is required to develop many customized EBS extensions based on the demand of customers to meet their specialized requirements. Development of new forms, act as a support member to provide enhancements in a limited time, resolve software bugs in a stringent time periods meeting the SLAs set on High Priority and Critical Severity (Sev1) issues. Work in collaboration with Oracle Support to identify and resolve various bugs, perform patch analysis and apply them on a complied manner to resolve issues. Perform reverse Engineering to identify the source system integration issues and fix them on a timely manner when occurred during daily, weekly or monthly interface peak times.. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent in related field .
