Job description
Contributes to the work on computer integrated manufacturing problems of limited scope and contributes on projects or processes while receiving detailed instructions from higher level professionals
Helps analyze the short-term and/or long-term network capacity needs for current and future network requirements
Helps design the network architecture and performs technical analysis of software, hardware, network systems, systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems
Assists in ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards and protocols
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of general IT support experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent

Customer service skills that build positive working relationships
On-site position, works a 12 hour shift rotation
Strong troubleshooting skills for issue resolution
Overall general knowledge of computers and computer networks
What are the nice-to-have skills?
Strong knowledge of windows operating systems
Experienced with Zebra handheld scanners and Zebra printers
Ability to work autonomously

The Infrastructure Tech I position known as the Technology Analyst position at the Des Moines Agricultural plant is a production shift-based teammate that supports the plant's IT needs.
They are the first point of contact on the plant floor. They Troubleshoot plant floor problems reported as an IT issue the best they can and either resolve the issue or determine the best course for escalation, whether that's an electrician, controls engineer or tech, IT Technical Specialist, or IT Systems Team member.
This is not just a help desk position. It involves being an active teammate in the IT Department to support migrations, rollouts, life-cycle management, and special projects.
