Responsibilities

  • Install and configure software and hardware with corporate standard.
  • Manage computer, network, mobile devices and servers.
  • Create and maintenance accounts and workstations.
  • Monitor performance, maintain systems and network according to requirements or corporate standard.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Ensure security through user education, access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models with corporate standard
  • Provide training to colleagues on system usage, best practices, troubleshooting
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, user manuals.
  • Perform vendor management as necessary.
  • Proactive approach to identifying system issues and implementing preventive measures.

Requirements and skills

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an IT Support or similar role preferably in retail business.
  • Experience with Windows Clients, Server, Microsoft 365 products, VMware, QNAP, SAP, Meraki networks (LAN, WAN, SAN), POS, Cloud, Proxy, Proofpoint, MFA, mobile devices, and patch management.
  • Hands on Knowledge of system security, Microsoft, Cisco Meraki, VMware, VPN, Active Directory, Mobile device, printers, AV system and data backup/recovery
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • High Certificate in Information Technology, or a related discipline; professional IT certification
  • Willing to work at non-working hours upon request and flexible to travel for business.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure with integrity.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and a good team player
