IT Product Manager

* Translate the product manager’s strategy into actionable tasks and works with cross-functional agile teams to execute those requirements.
* Represents user in delivery teams by thoroughly understanding user needs, pain points and problem statements.
* Responsible for continually building business intimacy by doing user research, interviews, user shadowing, market research, and analyzing data.
* Works with delivery teams continuously to focus on work completion according to business objectives and sprint goals.
* Defines the sprint plan, prioritizes the sprint backlog and adapts based on changing circumstances.
* Breaks down epics to write user stories in user’s voice in the smallest possible increment, with clear acceptance criteria, according to agreed-upon conditions with the Operations, engineering team and architects.
* Demonstrates new features and enhancements to business leaders and users; Incorporates feedback into future development sprints.

* Shields the engineering team from distraction by acting as the main point of contact for the delivery team to the users and the business.
* Defines business problems with a focus on user empathy and experience to create the right solution to solve needs, not just taking orders of what the business wants the team to build. Ideally optimizes solutions to fit a wide range of business needs by consulting with engineering team to propose solutions back to the business.

Key Accountabilities

* Delivery team backlog health - backlog has well-defined user stories that are organized into the proper hierarchy
* Represents stakeholders and customers voice for the delivery team.
* Creates, refines and prioritizes the backlog of user stories for the delivery team.
* Align feature delivery with product vision and roadmap

* Responsible for preparing clear users stories for the team to estimate story points for during backlog refinement.
* Responsible for creating a sprint plan according to team capacity and swapping out user stories mid-sprint if unplanned work must be brought in to sprint.
* Responsible for keeping engineering team as efficient and productive as possible my constantly maintaining a highly organized, well-groomed backlog of work items that match the agreed-upon conditions of new work: reusable common components, low-customization, highly scalable, and user-centric design.
* GUS
* Stories are created and linked to Epics
* Story pages are maintained with most current information
* Epics are created and linked to Projects
* Epic pages are maintained with most current information
* Backlog is maintained and in an orderly and healthy state

Certifications: Salesforce Service Cloud or Sales Cloud Certification required. Other Salesforce certifications are good to have as well. Scrum / Agile certifications are not mandatory but nice to have
