IT Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Manage project resources (budget, personnel, equipment) effectively.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
• Facilitate team meetings and manage project team members effectively.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and user requirements.
• Monitor and control project budget and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
• Document project processes and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT project management.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall preferred).
• Excellent proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.

Bonus Points:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Experience in cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in specific IT project areas (e.g., network infrastructure, software development).
