IT Project Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of IT projects, from initial planning to execution and delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will play a key role in systems management, security and compliance, management of software development projects and delivering innovative world-class solutions to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, while adhering to stringent quality assurance best practices and standards.
• Develop and implement strategic IT initiatives, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives, support the growth of the organization, and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead the IT team with a focus on fostering innovation and creativity to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
• Promote collaboration among diverse teams, both internally and externally, to leverage collective expertise and drive project success.
• Demonstrate strong leadership qualities by providing guidance and support to team members.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPI’s) and metrics to evaluate the performance of IT projects and resources.
• Lead incident and problem management efforts to swiftly address issues and minimize disruptions to business operations.
• Proactively assess and mitigate risks across all IT functions. Implement contingency plans to effectively manage and minimize any potential disruptions.
• Manage project timelines and budgets by closely monitoring milestones and resource utilization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Current certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Google, CompTIA, and other IT certifying bodies are essential.
• Minimum five years management experience supporting a small to mid-size corporate IT environment.
• Minimum five years management experience supporting C#, C++, Java, X++, or high-level programming language. Must be proficient in Microsoft .NET and mobile computing applications with heavy emphasis on Java and Android. Must have strong SQL database skills. Hands-on experience in writing code is essential. Experience administrating Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Self-starter capable of identifying software and hardware inefficiencies and implementing long-term solutions in a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment.
• Advanced analytical skills; able to solve complex problems.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate effectively with key customers and product owners at a high level. Conflict management skills are a must.
• Dynamic, outgoing personality with a proven track record of people and performance management. Able to build and support a strong team and evangelize best practices.
• Automotive or lean manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
