Job Position: IT Project Manager

Location: Cranston, RI (95% remote)

Duration: Long term contract

JOB Description:

• Coordinate with all impacted vendors (via contract owners) and agencies to align IT systems design, development, testing and implementation.
• Coordinate with operational stakeholders to ensure system design meets program needs/requirements
• Maintain an overall IT Systems project plan.
• Track risks, mitigations and issues that arise from the over IT system project effort.
• Align the IT system’s efforts with the overall outcomes and objectives of the project and ensure that performance meets expectations as described in the project charter.

Requirements

• The ability to understand, interpret and correctly apply complex policies and procedures.
• Able to participate as an active and contributing member of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively under deadlines.
• Experience with the principles of PMBOK
• Experience with Project Management tools and techniques.
• Experience with IT problem management.
• Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle.
• Ability to drive a team and produce high-quality results.
• Ability to develop strong business cases with supporting documentation, including wireframes, process maps, and other design tools.
• Experience defining program performance outcomes and key measurements.
