Job Description:
Project Management Responsibilities:
- Manage project progress and set deadlines, address issues that may arise during the course of a project and manage the project budget
- Develops and implements UAT for projects
- Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees
- Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
- Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Prepare information for timely submission of invoices and progress reports to ensure that necessary records, files, and other materials are maintained for efficient conduct of business and audit requirements
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Application Development Management Responsibilities:
- Manage all the activities of the software development group, searching for and identifying technological/applications solutions
- Provide guidance to team members to encourage work productivity
- Ensure that safety and security standards are met, and appropriate procedures and processes are followed when it comes to software development
- Vet products and vendors according to CSI standards and analyzes software requirements
- Overseeing and coordinating the people, resources and processes required to deliver new software or upgrade existing products
- Review and coordinate with the Project Management team, proposed software solutions to ensure it meets the agency's goals of minimizing redundancy.
Experience:
- Seven years’ experience managing and/or directing technological and support operations. Ten years’ experience working in the information technology industry with experience in strategic technology planning, execution, and policy development.
- Must have seven years verifiable experience as a manager of technical and non-technical teams. Requires extensive experience in all facets of project planning, implementation, and evaluation in a team-centered work environment. Extensive experience in Windows network administration.
