IT Project Manager

Description:

Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee various highly complex system projects and programs. The IT Project Manager 2 will work on assignments that are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and lead project teams, identifying appropriate resources and developing schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Work closely with development and support teams to compile labor and scheduling impacts and convey these to Business partners.
• Actively manage stakeholder partnerships, set expectations, and mitigate risks.
• Understand the system scope, project objectives, and the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate team activities.
• Oversee interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects, set strategies, and lead project and team to meet timelines and budget limits.
• Possess specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects.
• Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
• Maintain project artifacts, project plans, and tactical roadmaps, providing input to scrum teams to maintain traceability within Azure DevOps.
• Make decisions regarding work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, with minimal direction and guidance as needed.
• Follow established guidelines and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of project management experience.
• Agile and KANBAN experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification.
• SAFe Agile certifications.
