IT Security Analyst

Job Description: Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies. Develop plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs. Monitor reports of computer viruses to determine when to update virus protection systems. Travel/relocate to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. for long and short-term assignments at client sites. Travel and work at client sites as assigned. Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Software Professional. Will also accept Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Software Professional.
