Job Description
The IIB Developer must have solid experience in IIB/ESB platforms. They must have demonstrated experience working in multi-disciplinary design teams, Agile and/or XP development environments and have the capability to design and develop artifacts for the IIB/ESB platform. They should have experience in connectivity and utilization of various platforms and transformation capabilities of the IIB/ESB. The IIB Developer will leverage their deep experience in software engineering to ensure that deliverables meet ongoing performance and maintenance requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop interfaces and services for consumption and publishing for the landscape via ESB.
Develop Critical frameworks and perform proof-of-concepts in the integration platform
Work within an Agile development environment
Influence expert judgement and technical savviness when designing solutions
Responsible for integrating existing applications, web services, databases, and business process management systems in order to build advanced Enterprise Service Bus solutions
Required Skills
Minimum of 8 years of experience.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable. Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered.
• Experience with IBM integration technologies namely Message Broker, IIB, Data Power and WSRR.
• The candidate should have knowledge and experience to utilize the connectivity, transformation, and mediation capabilities of IBM WebSphere Message Broker V6.x/7.x/8.x and IIB V9.
• Solid experience in analyzing, designing, and deploying message models, message flows using the IBM WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit and IIB V9.
• Must have experience in development, testing, debugging of flows via the IBM IIB V9 by using ESQL and other languages, nodes, graphical mapping tools, and pattern features.
• Good experience in transforming messages with ESQL, Java and Maps and monitoring and performance of the IIB.
• Familiar with concepts related to scalability, high availability, security and the general use of adapters in the IBM IIB /Message Broker environment.
• Good understanding of MQ, Java, JMS, JDBC, XML, Xpath, SOAP, WSDL, Message sets and Message Parsers.
• Prefer candidate who has knowledge of DataPower appliance, exposing stored procs elimination of CTG (CICS Transaction Gateway) and utilization of WSRR.
• Ideal candidate must have migration experience of artifacts and flows from Message Broker to IIB.
• Thorough knowledge of design patterns, Integration and Service oriented architecture patterns. Candidate should be familiar with SOA and Messaging Technologies.
• Knowledge of event based integration, pub-sub, request/reply and synchronous/Asynchronous is mandatory.
• Design service contracts, participate in JAD sessions with business and IT stakeholders, analyze requirements and participate in estimation activities.
• Must have knowledge of UML and have the ability to create use cases, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications documents.s.
