IT Security Project Manager Client: OTI • Provide Project Management expertise to security SMEs to test and deploy complex NG9-1-1 systems and monitor for any and all threats. • Plan and coordinate meetings and teams for security scanning of all required system hardware and software and evaluation of the results. • Manage the schedule and validation of the systems for functionality, performance, fault tolerance and operation readiness. • Integration of interrelated Public Safety security policies with NextGen911 systems. • Manage project plans associated with IT security management across all workstreams. • Ensure that NENA Standards and NIST security controls are documented and properly implemented by all workstreams. • Work closely with executive level leadership, as well as internal and external stakeholders. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered 8+ yrs. experience in IT security project mgmt. role, managing administration of security policies (end to end) specifically related to Public Safety Excellent leadership and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication ability with strong visual presentation and public speaking skills; Experienced in interfacing with executive level management and giving senior level presentations. Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing medium to large scale projects. Professional Security Certification (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CISM Solid technical experience in a large-scale enterprise environment for Emergency Service DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Experience working with or for New York City government agencies. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in vendor management; PMP certification Project and resource planning, WBS creation, proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software;
