Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Candidate Preference: Local to Columbus, OH, or willing to relocate.

Must-Have Skills

Programming Languages:
Expertise in Java
Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, C#/.Net, Mean, Ruby, JSON
Databases:
Expertise in SQL
Experience with at least one of the following: MariaDB, S3, DB2, IMS
DevOps:
Familiarity with Broadcom Endevor, BitBucket, GitHub, Jules, Jenkins
Agile:
Experience working with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align)
Understanding of Scrum/Kanban methodologies
Microservices & Containers:
Experience with Microservices, APIs, and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
z/OS Connect: Familiarity with z/OS Connect
Qualifications & Experience

Expert-level skills: Deep expertise in at least one technology or design technique
Large-scale project experience: Proven ability to work across large, complex environments with multiple operating systems and infrastructure
Full-stack knowledge: Multi-skilled with expertise across the entire software development lifecycle and toolset
Agile leadership: Recognized as a leader in Agile development and capable of cultivating Agile teams
Mentorship: Serves as a coach or mentor for at least one technical skill
Modern development practices: Strong understanding of CI/CD, TDD, cloud development, resiliency, and security
Technology enthusiast: Stays abreast of cutting-edge technologies and trends, and influences their application within the business

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends
Mentor and coach other team members on technical skills
