Role And Responsibilities

You will be responsible for redefining the application design of an in house build JAVA application. You will be developing an automation tool that enables the supply chain becoming more effective and efficient. Your goal is to make the application fit for the future and enable faster and more efficient developments of new features in the application by other developers.

 

  • Propose redesign of Java infrastructure
  • Introduce best practices to improve readability, robustness and modularization
  • Develop technical designs for application development
  • Ensure application designs conform with business goals

     

Education and experience

Relevant Master degree (e.g Software Engineering, Computer Science)

Experience

 

  • Proven hands-on JAVA development experience
  • Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
  • >7 years of relevant programming experience
  • Familiarity with ERP system, preferably SAP ECC, is a strong plus
  • Experience in Agile way of working is an advantage.
  • Analytical and able to organize and prioritize own workload
