Proactive Monitoring Engineering team drives the Proactive Monitoring Service at Salesforce. This service monitors Salesforce infrastructure and applications and notifies customers on issues an performance degradations.
 

We are looking for a passionate software engineer who has tons of experience designing, developing, debugging, and operating resilient distributed systems that run across thousands of compute nodes. You have solved similar problems before and your solutions are powering the internet today.
 

Responsibilities
Design and implement highly scalable systems and algorithms
Work closely with quality engineering, product management, and technical operations to develop, test, deploy, and operate high quality software
Design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites
 

Required Experience
6-20 years of professional experience working with Java and the open-source Java stack.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment.
Experience with open-source technologies and cloud platforms.
