DUTIES: Provide technical leadership within teams responsible for developing automation solutions for the Smart Network Platform (SNP), which improves operational efficiencies during commercial and residential device launches; design, develop, and test the SNP’s Release Management application, which evaluates templates used on devices; use Java, Spring framework, Cassandra, Jenkins, and Git to develop software applications; deploy applications onto AWS cloud platforms (Lambda, SQS, ECS, Route53, and Cloudwatch); update application configuration information; provide application support to developers; gather requirements and evaluate various application tools to design highly scalable and performant solutions; conduct detailed code and design reviews, and triage production of features impacting applications; collaborate with cross-functional teams in Scrum ceremonies to refine user stories; and mentor junior-level team members. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field,

and five (5) years of experience using Java, Spring framework, and either Jenkins or Git to develop software applications; and deploying applications onto AWS cloud platforms (Lambda, SQS, ECS, Route53, or Cloudwatch).
